Preparing for SSC requires a lot of dedication. At that stage, it is crucial to take SSC coaching and avoid certain mistakes. Even though most students start preparing early, they may not score as they expect.

Let’s learn more about what not to do during the preparation period.

#1: Do Not Choose Multiple Resources

Too many cooks spoil the broth – is a common saying.

The same applies when you are preparing for a national examination. If you are taking SSC coaching in Delhi, just follow the guidelines you receive. Do not consult multiple resources to prepare for the test. It would only build up stress and create confusion.

The best way to prepare is to joining SSC coaching and follows the study material they provide.

#2: Do Not Wait for Last Minute Preparation

Proper planning is the key to success. Aspirants should start preparing much in advance and update their knowledge by reading newspapers and following previous questions and test papers.

Utilizing time properly is very important for competitive tests. Allocate your time judiciously. Prepare following the four stages:

i)       Concept building

ii)      Practice

iii)     Taking tests

iv)     Revision

As soon as the recruitment notification releases, you would have only 80 days to prepare. Hence, you must choose the correct plan to study all the subjects relevant to SSC. Your plan should also include practice tests and MCQ quizzes.

#3: Do Not Prepare for Too Many Tests at a Time

Many candidates prepare for multiple tests at a time without even understanding that each test is different. Likewise, each test has a specific method of assessment. While some tests have concept-based patterns, others may be analytical or practice-based. Moreover, most of the exams have different structures. So, it is complicated to prepare for so many tests at a go.

#4: Do Not Focus on Tricks

There are no shortcuts or tricks to score high in SSC or any other competitive test. You have to simply grasp the basics of the curriculum and try to develop quicker methods to solve a question paper. If you rely on shortcut tricks alone, you may not get any result through the test. The basis of all tricks and a high score is to have strong fundamentals.

#5: Do Not Disregard Revision

To succeed in an entrance test, even the most promising SSC coaching in Delhi cannot help if you do not revise. You must dedicate enough time to revise each subject, especially during the final preparation stage. Many candidates ignore this part and regret it later.

When you have only a few days left for the test, dedicate minimum 18 hours for revision per subject. Despite working consistently and taking SSC coaching many candidates suffered due to lack of revision.

Hope these tips help aspirants.
